Hear and Now offers integrative psychotherapy and counselling, in a calm and inviting space, where your experiences can be generously heard and curiously explored. Whatever you’re struggling with, you don’t have to make sense of it alone.

Is therapy for me?

People wonder whether they ought to seek therapy for all sorts of reasons. They may be experiencing anxiety and depression, stress and burnout, or a life transition like parenthood, menopause, divorce or bereavement. Perhaps their difficulties are related to neurodivergence, unsatisfying relationship patterns, or the lasting impacts of trauma and early childhood adversity. Whatever brings them, deep down they’re often looking for some of the same things:

  • Improving self-concept, autonomy and confidence

  • Turning around habits that no longer serve

  • Building a fulfilling future

  • Making sense of painful experience

  • Balancing physical and emotional responses

  • Exploring and improving relationships

Often, what is missing is a trusted and supportive person who can truly listen and help explore the deeper nature of our struggles, and navigate the uncertainty with us. Without judgement, without labelling and with positive encouragement of our capacity to find the answers, which is what psychotherapy offers.

What working together is like.

Therapy at Hear and Now is collaborative and unhurried. There is no script to follow, and we’ll go at your pace, guided by what matters to you most, now, in a space where you can say difficult things without fear of judgement.

“It’s the relationship that heals”

Reaching out can be the hardest part. There is no pressure, just a conversation, and you decide where it goes from there.
